What problems a phone store runs into

A phone is an expensive, one-by-one item. A single unrecorded device or a mixed-up IMEI means a real loss. Add dollar prices, sales on installments, several outlets, sellers paid a share of sales and dozens of accessory types, and an Excel sheet stops coping.

IMEI and serial number tracking: every phone on its own

In Sotix serial numbers and IMEIs are tracked one unit at a time: on receiving you enter each device's number, on sale you pick the exact one. At any moment you see which phones are still in stock and who bought a sold one.

• returns are processed by serial number, so it is clear which device came back;
• transfers between outlets also go by specific units;
• stocktaking: full, selective or blind count, with shortages assigned to the responsible person.

Selling phones on installments: schedule and reminders

Almost every electronics customer asks for installments, but without proper tracking they turn into a mess of notebooks and phone calls. Sotix has a customer base, installments with a payment schedule and debt reminders. You can see who owes what and when the next payment is due.

If a customer returns an item, their debt is paid off first. Discounts and bonuses, customer groups and gift certificates are configured separately, so regular buyers get better terms without manual calculations.

USD prices with an exchange rate and a minimum price

Phones are usually bought in dollars. Sotix lets you keep prices in USD with an exchange rate and sell in sums, so a rate change does not mean rewriting the price list by hand. You can keep separate price lists for retail and wholesale.

Every product can have a minimum price: a seller cannot sell below it without the right or the owner's confirmation. A discount can be confirmed remotely in the Sotix Biznes manager app. Payment is accepted in cash, by card through a terminal, via Payme, Click and Uzum, including split payments.

Accessories, kits and e-receipts

Cases, screen protectors, chargers and earphones are separate products with their own barcodes, photos and brands. You can build kits: a phone plus a case and a screen protector at one price. Product cards import from Excel with a check, and labels and price tags print with a barcode.

The customer gets an e-receipt by link or QR and by SMS, while the register prints receipts on 58 or 80 mm tape and A4. For an electronics shop this helps: warranty and purchase details are always at hand.

Branches, sellers and commission on sales

With several outlets you need shared stock and transfers between branches, both for goods and for money. The owner sees sales by seller, branch and product, ABC/XYZ reports and slow-moving models.

• roles and permissions: what a cashier may do and what only a manager can;
• payroll: a rate, a percentage of sales and KPI, with a timesheet from register shifts;
• risk control: cancellations after payment and discounts above the limit reach the owner in Telegram;
• blind register closing and shortages deducted from the person responsible.
